How I Support
As pet guardians, we enter what I think of as a sacred contract with a timeline - loving and caring for a being whose life will be far shorter than we wish. We can honor each day, stay mindful, and give them the best life possible, but nothing prepares the heart for the weight of goodbye.
Still, this final chapter does not have to be rushed, confusing, or faced alone. Today, we have the opportunity to offer our animals a more loving, peaceful, and intentional transition - and to care for ourselves, too. I am called to support people through pet loss and grief, and it would be an honor to walk beside you.
This is about slowing down, honoring the bond you share, and moving through these moments with care, dignity, and support.
Thank you for entrusting me to serve you during this special and tender experience.
The Four Crossroads of Pet Loss Support
As a Pet Loss Doula, I support clients through four major emotional and practical crossroads:
Assessing Quality of Life - When you’re wondering “Is it time?” I help you gently evaluate comfort, dignity, and well-being so decisions come from clarity and love rather than fear or pressure.
Preparing for Death - We talk through what to expect, your options, your wishes, and how to create an environment that feels calm and meaningful for both you and your pet.
The Last Day - I help you move through this day with intention instead of urgency - making space for presence, connection, ritual, and the kind of goodbye that reflects your bond.
Grief Support - Whether your loss is recent or years old, your grief is welcome here. I offer individual and group support where your love, memories, and emotions are met with compassion and understanding.
My role is not to make decisions for you - it is to support you as you move through them.
My Goals as Your Doula
Alleviate stress during an already emotional time
Avoid hurried decision-making driven by panic or uncertainty
Create space for special, loving moments with your animal companion
